How was your experience with your Patient Care Manager?
Hillary was awesome from day one. Any time I had a question for her she was always quick to get back with me regarding an answer. She was sweet and really had concern for getting me help.
How was your experience with your doctor?
Dr. Chapman spent so much time with me making sure I felt comfortable with the procedure as well as the risks involved, he let me know the percentages of his patients that had relief as well as those that didn’t. Since I had tried absolutely everything I was feeling like this was my last option for help.
What was your life like before surgery?
I was having 16 migraines a month some lasting for several days. Leaving the house was for important things like doctor appointments only and getting with friends was nonexistent.
What is your life like now, after surgery?
I have had several headaches a month but they are easily managed with my unit and I’ve only had 1 migraine a month since the unit was installed on Aug 11, 2016. Today is Nov 22, 2016. I’m so happy with my life now. It has completely changed my life and is the best decision I’ve ever made.
I drive an hour and a half to spend time with my mom. I have gone out to a craft fair, I’ve gone shopping, and I’ve even gone out to dinner with friends a couple of times. It’s still weird at the thought of being able to get out but I’m making strides in that department with baby steps. Not because of my head but because I’m not used to being able to do it.
What would you say to someone who is contemplating the Omega Procedure?
This completely changed my life.
