This has been life changing. I am able to get a severe migraine to a lower level or sometimes even get rid of it. My pain has definitely improved.
How was your experience with your Patient Care Manager?
She was amazing! She seen me through the whole process. Answered my MANY questions promptly and addressed all my concerns. She even continued to check on me after the procedure.
How was your experience with your doctor?
Easy to talk to. Very knowledgeable. He did a great job explaining the procedure. I had similar stimulations done (not permanent) that worked for a while and was unsure the difference between the two. He explained it in a “language” I could understand and very thoroughly. Great sense of humor as well.
What was your life like before surgery?
Not good. I would never know if I was going to wake up with a migraine or not. I would pray every night I wouldn’t but it was a toss up. Before surgery, I was having migraines lasting 2 months straight with no relief. My pain was throbbing and pressure.
What is your life like now, after surgery?
Can you say relief? This has been life changing. I am able to get a severe migraine to a lower level or sometimes even get rid of it. I haven’t had to use the stimulator for a month now which is unheard of. My pain has definitely improved.
[I can now]Get through a week or a month without a migraine
