How was your experience with your Patient Care Manager?
I couldn’t have been happier with my Patient Care Manager. It was wonderful to have one point of contact and know that I could get my questions answered and she would work with me throughout the process.
How was your experience with your doctor?
Very knowledgeable and experienced.
What was your life like before surgery?
My quality of life prior to surgery was severely diminished to the point of uncertainty about work and we were not making long-term plans. I was in constant, daily pain. I missed work, family activities and was not actively participating in life either at home or at work. I was taking numerous medications and struggling just to stay alert.
What is your life like now, after surgery?
I couldn’t be happier since surgery, I am living without meds and once again participating in life. We just returned from my first headache free vacation in years and I have been able to return to work without any limitations or altered expectations. I still keep my rescue meds close, but have only needed them on a couple of occasions and even then I think it was me being cautious.
I played tennis for the first time in at least 2 years. I had been a college tennis player and have struggled to be active in recent years. I was pain free and enjoyed the courts once again.
What would you say to someone who is contemplating the Omega Procedure?
Don’t hesitate, it is hard to imagine the amount of pain relief and the ability to simply be active again.
