Procedure Date: March 9, 2012

Pre Surgery Condition: I have had migraines since early childhood. I saw many emergency rooms due to pain and vomiting. Sometimes during the 1980’s (?) many drugs came onto the market – I was even a migraine study at Baylor for several years. I finally settled on a migraine drug after trying all of them. I took 1 or 2 doses 5-6 days a week. Sometimes I would have to add a pain pill. My neurologist told me I could not continue taking the pain pills as it would cause liver failure.

Post Surgery Condition: Since my surgery on March 9, 2012, I have only had 2 headaches. One I treated with a drug and the second I increased the stimulation. I was up and driving the second day after surgery. The only incision that was rather painful was the one down the nape of my neck. I would consider this treatment 100% successful.
