Occupation: Assistant Manager
Diagnosis: Migraines
Procedure Type: The Omega Procedure
Procedure Date: March, 2012

Pre Surgery Condition: I had suffered from increasingly frequent and severe migraines for 12 years.  It was not uncommon for me to have four migraines per week.  I considered it a ‘good’ day if I was able to work the whole day, make it home, take pain medication and lay on an ice pack all night.  Many days I couldn’t even get out of bed.

Post Surgery Condition: Before surgery, I was hoping for any improvement at all.  Never in my wildest dreams did I think I could feel this good again!  No more countless pain medications, no more missing out on family time, no more watching as life passed by!  The pain relief was immediate!  In the beginning, I adjusted the unit frequently until I found the settings that were best for me.  Now, I seldom need to make adjustments.  If I feel the symptoms of an approaching migraine, I make adjustments to the unit in the locations of the pain.  In a short period of time, the pain improves.  Since my surgery, I have experiences a total of 3-4 migraines.  They were less intense and shorter in duration than any of the migraines I experienced before surgery.   I can’t say enough how thankful I am to have learned of the procedure!  [My doctor] and his staff are superb!  I would recommend the procedure and [my doctor], without reservation, to anyone suffering similar symptoms to mine.
