Education:

Dr. Scott Farley is an orthopedic spine surgeon who is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgeons. After earning his medical degree, Dr. Farley pursued his internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at Botsford General Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. At Spine Surgery, PSC in Louisville, Kentucky, he completed a fellowship in spinal reconstruction surgery with orthopedic surgeons Drs. Holt and Majd.

Relevant Experience:

Dr. Farley has published spinal research in the leading international medical journal Spine. He has also presented research at some of the world’s most prestigious spine meetings, including North American Spine Association (NAAS) and Scoliosis Research Society (SRS) conferences.

Dr. Farley spent three years working and training with the Spine and Scoliosis Center of Orlando in Florida before locating to Dallas. This experience gave Dr. Farley a keen understanding of total spine care, from pain management to surgery. He learned advanced spinal surgery technologies, many of which were not yet widely available, and treated hundreds of the most challenging cases in the area.

Dr. Farley is known for his skill as well as his bedside manner, with an attentive and compassionate focus. He is an innovator in the field of surgery, constantly researching developments with spinal implant manufacturers to take advantage of new products and techniques designed for better patient results.

A busy father of two children, Dr. Farley is passionate about his profession and helping patients. He is an enthusiastic runner, skier and gardener. He enjoys the art of bonsai, creating a realistic representation of nature in the form of a tree. In his spare time, he can often be found tending to his trees.
