Education:

Dr. De Andres graduated from the School of Medicine of the Valencia University in Spain and completed his Fellow in Interventional Pain Practice at the World Institute of Pain. He received his Ph.D. in 1990 with his discourse on Neurostimulation as Optimization Method in Regional Nerve Block.

Relevant Experience:

Currently he is an associate professor of anesthesiology at the Valencia University School of Medicine and chairman of Anesthesiology, Critical Care and the Multidisciplinary Pain Management departments at the Valencia University General Hospital.

Dr. De Andres is an active lecturer on interventional pain management, and a member of numerous international societies—including the European Society of Regional Anesthesia, the International Association for the Study of Pain, and the International Neuromodulation Society. He is widely published in Spain and in international publications. He serves on the editorial boards of several national and international journals pertaining to regional anesthesia and pain management.
